Progress on Mac servers

Apollo is back up, and talking to it's admin. We are in the process of repopulating the NetInfo Database, and are about 1/3 done with this as of 6:00AM. Users whose accounts were created as a part of a class are the first to be restored. We hope to have them all in by mid day today. Then, we will work on those users who requested accounts later. This afternoon's group requires a lot of manual crosschecking, so that group will likely take a bit longer.

After restoring all the user accounts, we will reintegrate their data to the accounts. This will likely happen tomorrow (10/12).

Passwords were reset in the recreation of the database, so users will be required to input a new password. As tomorrow progresses they will see Their data return to their private folders.

Hopefully these updates to 10.1 and rebuilds of NetInfo will have added to the system stability. We will be monitoring this, and then deciding what actions (if any) we need to pursue to get the labs operating at peak performance.
