Planned Power Outages

The power outage in Communication Arts Center (CAC) was shorter than expected, and power was returned to the building at approximately 2:30pm. As of 4 pm, our servers are operational again, with the exception of the Novell server, which we expect to have working by the end of the day.

We expect that services will return normally to all users this afternoon, but please contact us if this is not the case at 3-7349 or chfaTECH@uni.edu.

Note: tomorrow, May 8th, the power will be off in the Kamerick Art Building for much of the day. As with the CAC outage, faculty and staff in the KAB should shut down their computers prior to 8am. During this outage the KAB 250 computer lab will be unavailable, as will the Quark Xpress license server. The only effect this outage will have on users outside of the KAB is the unavailability of Quark Xpress.
