Welcome Back from Steven Larson, CHFA Technology Coordinator

Welcome back! It's been a busy summer here at chfaTECH and we have a lot to share with you.

We have updated many labs. KAB 250 has been expanded and now houses twenty-one Macintosh G4 computers. CAC 116 has twenty-five new Dell computers and an updated projection system. CAC 204 has ten new iMacs, a Power Macintosh G3, and a new projection system. CAC 115 is the new home for the blue and white Macintosh G3 is that were formally in KAB 250, and an ELMO document camera has been added, the projection system has also been upgraded. RSL120 is being expanded and we're planning on putting new furniture in this lab in the near future. (It's ordered, just not here yet) There are newer machines in RSL 117 too. We're currently in the process of installing projection systems in many classrooms throughout the College of Humanities and Fine Arts.

We will have many new services available this coming year, including this new web site. I hope you find it to be a useful resources. You'll find lots of information available here. You can view the tasks that you have called in to see what's been worked on, get answers to frequently asked questions, and see out what equipment is available for checkout. Please take a few minutes, look around, and let us know what you think. If you have ideas for additional things that should be posted here we'd be interested in your opinion.

With the completion of Lang all renovations, and the many resources that we are working on providing for you, this looks to be an exciting year! Stop back often to see what we are up to.
