Power Restored to Lang Hall
Around 5PM tonight power was restored.
As of 8PM CHFA's three severs were restarted, the computer labs in 212 and 213 were functioning. Classrooms on the ground floor still need to be powered on (1st, 2nd and 3rd floors have been checked) - this will be done Monday morning.

Power Outtage in Lang Continues...
UNI Physical Plant planned a power outtage in Lang this Sunday morning from 8am to 12 noon. As of 3PM - power was still not restored to rooms in Lang Hall (hallway lighting is powered).
A CHFA lab monitor attempting to open the labs for student use at noon was told by a Physical Plant employee that power may not be restored until Monday.
Until further notice - CHFA's computer labs in Lang 212 and Lang 213 are closed.
Classroom AV carts may will need to powered up once power is restored to the building. We will try to visit as many classrooms as possible as soon as possible once power is restored.
For Communication Studies staff with Windows 2000 or XP machines - your document and login server was powered down this morning prior to the outtage. Once we know power is restored we will restart that server (Jupiter). Until this server is powered back on your documents will be unavailable and you will receive an error message (Roaming user profile cannot be located) when you login. This is normal behavior, and will be corrected as quickly as we can.
Thank you for your patience.
