Power Restored in CAC 212?

The power has been restored to our server room. Unfortunately, the source of the problems has not been located. Changes have been made to the backup power-source configuration that should result in no servers crashing should the power fail once again.

Power Failure in CAC 112

Shortly after noon today, the power for Communication Arts Center classroom 108 and CHFA|Tech's server room 112 failed. Our backup power supplies immediately kicked in, and one of those failed as well. This resulted in loss of access to one server (Prometheus). Power was restored to the rooms by 12:30 PM, but not to the outlets that normally supply power to our servers. An additional non-essential server (Artemis) was shut-down in order to help conserve power.

At this time (12:50 PM), a temporary solution has been instigated. All servers are up and functioning for now while the Physical Plant works on finding a permanent solution.
