Windows Server EMERGENCY reboot 5-00PM - Security Update

A very important security patch was relased by Microsoft today. It is imperative that everyone update computers running Windows NT 4, 2000, XP, or Server 2003 with this patch as soon as possible.

CHFA patched all four Windows 2003 servers between 4pm and 5pm tonight. Windows 2000 and XP workstations will receive this patch overnight and reboot after installing it at either 3AM or 4AM (assuming of course that the computer is powered on, and connected to the UNI campus network). You do not need to take any action on a CHFA-managed computer to install this update - unless you have a CHFA notebook. If you have a CHFA notebook, please bring it to campus, connect it to the network, and power it on.
