Real Player version 10 deployed to Windows machines

Real Player Enterprise (version 10) is now available to Windows machines in CHFA. Upon your next reboot of a Windows XP machine in CHFA, version 9 will be replaced by this new version.

This new version was necessitated by audio files being encoded for WebCT/UNI CET streaming audio in the new Real 10 format.

If you created shortcuts on your desktop or quick launch bar to the old player, you will need to delete and recrate it (you will get an error message "shortcut only valid on installed applications" if you click on the old shortcut/icon).

If you have not used Real Player before - you may view Video (or audio) content that is of poor quality due to low bandwidth. You can set the minimum quality higher for your personal login account by following these instructions.
