Quicktime 6.51 deployed to Windows users

An additional modification was required for the QuickTimer Player. In order to play content on some web sites, Apple has an additional plug-in called "QuickTime Streaming Authoring." Of course this can only be added once Quick Time is installed.

Rebooting a CHFA-managed Windows computer will result in the installation of "Apple QuickTime Player (9-15-04)" during startup.

Quicktime 6.51 deployed to Windows users

A new version of QuickTime - version 6.51 is now available for Windows machines in CHFA. This will install automatically on the next reboot of a CHFA Windows machine (if attached to the campus network).

We have resolved the "nag" screen that encouraged users to purchase QuickTime Pro. The Virtual Reality plug-in is also included on this version.
