New CHFA account password policy

Effective immediately, CHFA login account passwords (for Windows or Macintosh computers) must be
-8 characters or longer in length

-Must contain at least one number

-Must contain at least one letter

-Must contain one special character (i.e. { } [ ] , . < > ; : ’ ” ? / | \ ` ~ ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) _ - + =)


When you change a password for your CHFA account, you will be required to meet the above rules. Until your account password expires (every six months) you may continue to use your current password. We do recommend changing your password to meet the more-complex
requirements at your earliest convenience.

On a Windows computer:
After you have logged in, press ctrl+alt+del - click the box for change password.

On a Macintosh computer:
after you have logged in, go to system preferences (dock or apple menu) click accounts select your account and click change password button.
