Windows Software Updates 1/27/2006

CHFATECH will reboot all Windows machines in the College late tonight or Saturday AM to ensure the following software packages are up to date:
Microsoft Office Pro 2003 SP2 (updated 1/10/2006)
Microsoft Office 2003 Proofing Tools (also 1/10)
Quick Time (1-13-2006)
Sassafras K2 Client (1-25-06)
Symantec AntiVirus (1-23-06)
Mozilla Firefox (1-27-2006)
UNI Admin Mainframe QWS3270Secure (1-25-2006)

For users of QWS3270 (not all CHFA computers have this software): the update will remove the previous "UNI Admin Mainframe" shortcut. If you copied this to your desktop or quick launch bar (small icons besides the start button), they will no longer function. You will need to launch the application by clicking start->All Programs->UNI Admin Mainframe. You can then copy this shortcut to your desktop or quick launch bar if you so desire.
