Security Vulnerability found in Safari

A serious security vulnerability was recently found in Safari, Apple's default web browser in OS X. In its default configuration, simply clicking on a web link could allow a site to run UNIX scripts on your computer without your knowledge. The complete story

To disable this vulnerability:
Select Preferences under the Safari menu (Apple-,)
Select the General Tab
UNCHECK the box for "Open 'Safe' files after downloading"
Close Preferences
