Outlook Express configuration forOff-campus access to UNI email.

Click on Tools – Accounts.

Highlight the one you want to modify – then click theproperties button (right panel).

Go to the servers tab

If you click on the settings tab for Outgoing Mail RequiresAuthentication – this should appear.

Leave it as “use same settings”

Click on the Advanced Tab – and check the two boxes for“This server requires a secure connection (SSL)” The port number for IMAPshould change to 993.
